Overview: Working with Queued Jobs
In this section, you will learn to navigate the Queued tab in the Ingestion Jobs page, and understand how to use each of the features in this tab.
The queuing system in platform is based on the First in, First out (FIFO) concept. Meaning the first job in the queue will be the first job to be processed for ingestion. This ensures a fair and orderly processing of jobs, maintaining the sequence in which they were added to the queue.
Navigating Queued Jobs
The Queued Jobs tab displays the following:
-
Jobs Queue: View jobs in the queue; ready for ingestion
-
Sorting by Priority: Sort jobs by priority in ascending or descending order
-
Searching Queued Jobs: Find ingestion jobs by name
-
Filtering Jobs: Filter ingestion jobs by Uploader and Date Range
-
Actions Menu: Move jobs to the top or bottom, set new job priority, and delete the job. For more information, see chapter Working with Actions Menu
